About the Workshop
Welcome to our Online Youth Writers Workshop organised by the TheHomeGround. TheHomeGround is Singapore’s leading digital publication focused on keeping communities connected and inspired, and empowering Singaporeans to share their unique perspectives. The two full-day workshop is for young writers between the ages of 13 and 18, with the goal of familiarizing youth with the structure and writing style for different online digital contents. The workshop also provides the opportunity for participants to work up close and alongside our THG editorial team.
About TheHomeGround Asia and THG Youth
At TheHomeGround, we capture the conversations, concerns, and curiosity of Singaporeans through the lens of locals living and breathing their home ground. The youth of Singapore is a growing community of Singapore that we feel should be heard more and who can contribute much to the development and future of Singapore.
The THG Youth writers’ workshop is a community engagement initiative to lend a voice and platform for youths to share their vision and ideas and to be aggregation of news for youths written by youths.
