International medical humanitarian organisation Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)) is back with the Doctors Without Borders Film Festival. Returning for its third year, the festival aims to offer insight into the work of aid workers and the lives of vulnerable populations around the world. In light of COVID-19 safe distancing measures, films will be screened virtually.
The lineup includes three critically-acclaimed documentaries:
“Diaries from the Field” is set against the backdrop of the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh and follows the head of MSF’s emergency response there.
“Restoring Dignity” offers a glimpse into the lives of noma disease survivors and follows their struggles and achievements over the course of a year.
“Panorama – Ebola Frontline” follows MSF doctors and nurses for one month in an Ebola treatment centre in Kailahun, Sierra Leone.
