The marimba takes centrestage at this year’s President’s Young Performers Concert with young Singaporean percussionist Julia Tan. An award-winning graduate of the Mannes School of Music, New York, and recipient of the Best Graduate Award, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, she will play the Marimba Concerto by prominent French composer-percussionist Emmanuel Séjourné.
