Racial Harmony Day @ (MHC) Tales from the Nusantara: Kain Songket Ibu (Mother’s Songket) Storytelling & Guided Tour

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Ibu (Mother) gifted a songket (woven textile) to Danial. Overjoyed, Danial decided to wear it as a samping (waist wrap) to school on Racial Harmony Day. He bolted around with joy, but little did he know, a mishap was about to befall him. Will Danial be able to care for this precious gift?

Embark on an adventure with Danial to find out whether he succeeded in doing so in the story of “Kain Songket Ibu”. After the storytelling, stay on for an engaging guided tour and discover more about Malay culture!

Venue: Malay Heritage Centre, Permanent & Special Exhibition Galleries

Admission Fee: $8
