How would you “wear” your Chinese Singaporean identity? Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre invites all students between 15 to 25 years old with a keen interest in fashion design to give their creative take at the inaugural REMIX 2k21 Fashion Design Competition.
Part of the RE•MIX 2k21 Festival for youths by youths, budding designers are invited to submit their ideas inspired by the Centre’s Singapo人 exhibition in an open call. Translate the elements of our rich ethnic diversity that makes up our distinctive local Chinese culture and turn it into wearable fashion pieces! Shortlisted participants will be invited to pitch and bring their design concepts to the runway under a judging panel led by celebrity stylist and fashion designer Keith Png. Participants can also stand a chance to win up to S$1,000 in cash prizes and showcase their creations to the public at the REMIX 2k21 Festival to be held in January 2021!
