Although we’re faced with additional restrictions this Chinese New Year, that doesn’t mean that we can’t make the most out of the festive season. While we find alternative ways to reunite with our families without breaching social distancing measures, why not consider bringing the new year to their homes (remotely, of course) by sending them a hearty meal, or tasty treats?

The Fullerton Hotel

This year, the Fullerton Hotel’s Jade Restaurant brings a fine repertoire of Chinese culinary treasures that have been designed to accommodate smaller groups. Executive Chef of Jade Restaurant Leong Chee Yeng says, these dishes are “ideal for sharing meaningful moments of warmth with one’s closest kin”.

For those who were looking forward to partaking in new year goodies from The Fullerton, fret not. This year’s assortment of New Year goodies include the charming Baked Rose Sweetheart’s Cake — a heart-shaped pastry inspired by the traditional wife biscuit and created as an ode to love, filled with rose-infused winter melon paste, and the Pan-Fried Wheatgrass Water Chestnut Cake, an updated take on the classic dessert enhanced with light herbal notes of wheatgrass.
