Devising Platform 2020: Virtual Reality Lab

Devising Platform 2020: VR Lab opens up an opportunity for theatre and VR practitioners to explore a few permutations of how the theatre interacts with VR technology. The practitioners propose a few briefs that will be carried out, evaluated and discussed to see if there is potential for development in application for the future. These permutations may or may not involve audience members when shared through a livestream session at the end of the exploration during the exploratory phase.Fragments from two scripts penned by Haresh Sharma, namely Don’t Forget To Remember Me and Frozen Angels are being used as conceptual springboards for the explorations to be carried out during the Lab around notions of memory, dementia, world-making and alternate realities.
