In this episode of Portraits of Singapore, I visit Seah Im Food Center in Telok Blangah to catch a glimpse of life in District 4. Follow me on my day in this quiet district opposite HarbourFront Centre, and discover all that it has to offer. I have to say that that out of all the neighbourhoods I’ve visited as part of Portraits of Singapore, Seah Im Food Center has the friendliest stall owners!
Watch me play with different settings to capture different perspectives, and go down memory lane with nostalgic shots of store owners and hawker stalls alike. (Pro tip: discover some of Telok Blangah’s hawker highlights too!)
If you’re an aspiring photographer, head on down and strike up a conversation with the stall holders – they’ll be more than ready to pose for your photos.
Stay tuned as I share some tips on the best lens to bring on your street photography adventure!
