The first thing that comes to my mind when I am asked “What’s in Alexandra estate” is IKEA. But on my recent excursion to the neighbourhood, I realised that there’s more to the the place than the Swedish furniture giant.
Just across the road from Park Hotel, there’s a cluster of shops where you can find old school bakeries, furniture shops and even an antique shop that instantly invoke a sense of nostalgia. I ventured a little further in and found a cluster of car repair workshops where I spotted several vintage cars which were great photography subjects!
