In celebration of the Festival Bangsawan Singapura and National Day 2022, Anggerik Temasek Bangsawan presents Sang Nila Utama, a Bangsawan (Malay Opera) production that traces our Singapura founder’s lineage, his heritage and his journey as accorded by the Malay Annals (Hikayat Melayu). In view of the latest weather forecast for early August, and to facilitate with proper seating arrangements for our senior patrons watching the show, the production will now be performed INDOORS in the comfort of the Auditorium of the Malay Heritage Centre (Taman Warisan Melayu), Kampung Gelam. There will be proper seatings for ALL patrons coming to watch the show in the airconditioned Auditorium space.
This also eliminates the possibility of any show cancellations due to inclement weather conditions.
