Fill Me In
There’s something truly satisfying of a fully loaded pizza with a crunchy crust and soft, chewy middle. We’re talking about the Original Pan Pizza, which Pizza Hut has had on its menu for the past 40 years.
In honour of the Pan Pizza beloved by pizza fans across 55 of its global markets, Pizza Hut has declared October Global Pizza Month, and will be serving up pizza specials all month long.
Taking pizza to global heights
In a worldwide virtual press conference on 21 October, Pizza Hut shared with global media some of its more iconic flavours created in Pizza Hut’s international creations. Classic flavour combinations include the vegetable and meat medley found on the Supreme, the Pepperoni Lovers pizza topped with 72 slices of pepperoni (yes, they count them!), and the Internet-divisive yet still hot favourite, Hawaiian pizza.
Elsewhere in the world, Pizza Hut Asia has served up quirky flavours like the Durian Pan Pizza (Singapore), and the Stinky Tofu Pan Pizza (Taiwan) – both of which bridge the cultural gap between of Pizza Hut and their respective countries. There are also other great flavours, Pan Tandoori Paneer in the Middle Eastern branches of Pizza Hut, and BBQ Chicken in Latin America.
Look forward to new flavours with the Pan Pizza
“Pizza Hut has never lost the passion or taste for what inspired the Original Pan Pizza in 1980,” said Ana Maria Rodriguez, chief food innovation and quality officer at Pizza Hut International. “We always put our food and our customers first. Since our most classic menu item debuted 40 years ago, we remain forward-looking and forever young, curating ideas from around the globe to continue delivering with each Pan pie.”
Pizza Hut’s Pan-iversary will deliver with global fan giveaways, special offers and more. For Singapore readers, stay up-to-date by following their social media channels on Instagram and Facebook.
