Self-Portrait: A Performative Film Tour

Join five muses as they meditate on art and life amidst Chua Soo Bin’s most iconic images.

Inspired by the National Gallery Singapore retrospective, Chua Soo Bin: Truth & Legends, Self-Portrait: A Performative Film Tour celebrates Chua’s iconic works and his relationship with the legends that have shaped Asia’s rich artistic legacies. The film features some of Singapore’s most exciting young artists today, including dancer Ammar “Ameezy”, rapper/producer Wheelsmith, playwright Tung Ka Wai, performer Chanel Ariel Chan and Sign Language interpreter Evelyn Chye.

Created by Grace Lee-Khoo, founder of Access Path Productions and directed by James Khoo.

Access Path Productions has made waves in recent years for producing innovative disability-led work accessible to a wide community of audiences.

Self-Portrait: A Performative Film Tour will be audio described and captioned. Singapore Sign Language has been integrated into the performance.
