As we’re inching towards the end of 2020 (phew!), it’s time to let loose and have some fun. But what’s there to do without having to strategise on how to use your SingapoRediscovers vouchers?
We’ve curated a list of fun weekend activities for you and your friends/family/significant other to enjoy! Woohoo time to party!
1. Dairy Farm Nature Park
Get your fill of nature this weekend at the revamped Bukit Timah Dairy Farm Nature Park! Beyond stunning views, there’s now a new Wallace exhibition that showcases the rich biodiversity found in the park in fun and interactive ways.
The brand new exhibition features a conservation-themed video game, a 2.2m tall walk through, and even a trick-eye wall for your IG-worthy photo ops!
For your convenience, the Wallace trail has also been extended from the original 1km to 2.2km, stretching all the way to Hillview MRT.
2. ADM Show 2020: LIVE
Show your support for the graduating class of 2020 from Nanyang Technological University’s School Art, Design and Media (ADM) at their annual graduation show!
The show is a culmination of the experiences and aspirations gleaned by the Class of 2020 over the course of their study. It is the finale of their years of education, a final curtain call as they move from #UnseentoSeen.
The ADM Show 2020 will run until 13 December 2020, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. It is held at the Gillman Barracks, Block 9 Lock Road, #02-21.
3. Time Capsule at Singapore Flyer
The Singapore Flyer launched an immersive exhibition on Singapore’s history. Titled the Time Capsule, visitors can expect to be taken through 700 years of the nation’s history with two levels of interactive panels and exhibits.
One of the highlights of the exhibit is a robot that guides visitors through the exhibition, as well as a riveting display of the country’s current sights.
4. SEAASON of Rediscovery
Experience marine wildlife like never before with S.E.A. Aquarium’s newest immersive experience – SEAASON of Rediscovery. The aquarium has been transformed with specially designed light effects and fascinating soundscapes
A new zone “Shipwrecked!” will enthrall children and adults alike with a journey of a ship’s end of service leading to the birth of a thriving new habitat. There’s also Coral-full Wall that is both visually stunning and creatively educational!
5. Virtual 360° Orchard Road
Too busy to head to town this festive season? Fret not, the festive lights of Orchard Road can come to you instead! To prevent overcrowding of Singapore’s mega shopping parade, those at home can enjoy the dazzling lights with the virtual 360° tour of Orchard Road with a user-controlled view from Tanglin Mall to Dhoby Ghaut!
Adding in on the fun are Christmas games during the tour that can win you prizes, as well as a Hitachi Virtual Photobooth to add to the festive cheer.
