Realme Launches Realme 7Pro, Realme Buds Wireless Pro, and Realme Watch S

About Realme

Established in 2018, realme has quickly set itself up as a reputable brand with innovative and eye-catching technology. Their mission is to bring a comprehensive superior experience for the young, with cutting-edge smartphones and Artificial Intelligence + Internet of Things (AIoT) products.

Realme has been the world’s fastest brand to reach 50 million units of smartphone sales and was named one of the Top 5 smartphone brands here in Singapore. With their rapid growth, all eyes are on them to see what they bring to the table next.

To much anticipation, Realme announced the launch of three new products on 4 November through a virtual event. Their new offerings include a new smartphone and two products from their AIoT line.

Realme 7 Pro

The Realme 7 Pro is an upgrade from the Realme 6 Pro, and stands at 8.7mm thickness and 182g in weight, losing 0.2mm and 14g from its predecessor. It comes in two stunning finishes: Mirror Blue and Mirror Silver.

The new phone features an impressive 65W fast-charging for its 4,500mAh battery capacity with dual 2,250mAh cells. Through Realme’s propriety SuperDart charging, the Realme7 Pro reportedly takes only 34 minutes for a full charge! In fact, Realme has announced that with just three minutes of charging, the battery can be charged up to 47%, allowing for up to 2.5 hours of YouTube runtime.

In terms of camera, the phone features a quad-rear camera configuration with a 2nd generation 64MP camera. It contains a Sony IMX682 sensor for improved pixel performance alongside f/1.8 aperture. One of the key selling points of the Realme 7Pro is its new Night Filters and Ultra Nightscape Video, which allow for stunning frames to be captured even in low light.

91 Mobiles

Additionally, the Realme 7 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display which is rated at FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution), with a pixel density of 409 PPI. It has a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The front display also features a 32MP punch-hole Selfie camera on the top-left. To top it all off, the Realme 7 Pro has an in-display fingerprint sensor for a sleek finish on the front display.

The new smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, built on the 8nm process. The phone has also passed the TÜV Rheinland-certified smartphone durability, the first smartphone to have done so — perfect for the klutz out there who has a tendency for breaking their phones. Moreover, it comes with a three-card slot that can take two nano-SIM cards and one MicroSD card for greater memory capacity.

The Realme 7Pro will be available from 14 November 2020 onwards at StarHub, authorised resellers, and official Realme platforms on both Lazada and Shopee. The phone will retail at S$499 (8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage capacity). From 4 November 2020 until 13 November 2020, pre-order to receive various cashback rewards and a Realme Watch pre-order gift (worth S$149)!

Realme Watch S

Alongside the Realme 7Pro, Realme is also launching the Realme Watch S, its first smartwatch featuring a round display.

The brand new round display gives the Realme Watch S a 3.3cm auto-brightness display with 5 level brightness settings (600nits Peak Brightness). The watchface is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and comes with a whopping 100+ different watch faces! Additionally, the phone is IP68 water and dust resistant, ensuring its durability for daily use.

The Realme Watch S is their most comprehensive health accessory yet, supporting 16 different sport modes and containing various health sensors including a PPG sensor for heart-rate monitoring, and a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level monitoring.

In terms of battery life, the Realme Watch S can last up to 15 days of use on a single charge. Better yet, a full charge from 0 to 100 per cent will only take a short two hours.

The Realme Watch S will be available for sale from 7 November on their official stores on Lazada, Shopee, as well as in authorised retailers. It will be priced at S$199.

Realme Buds Wireless Pro

The final product Realme announced on 4 November is the Realme Buds Wireless Pro, Realme’s first noise-cancelling earphones.

The Realme Buds Wireless Pro comes in a stunning black and gold combination and is equipped with a customized S1 high performance noise cancelling chip to ensure full immersion in your audio experience. The earbuds are also equipped with a LDAC 990kbps Bluetooth 5.0 speaker for a crisp and clear audio quality.

Additionally, the Realme Buds Wireless Pro has a 119ms gaming mode with super low latency to ensure perfect synchronisation, making it ideal for gamers as well.

Similar to the Realme Pro7 and Realme Watch S, the earbuds have an impressive battery life of 16 hours on full charge even with active noise cancellation on. It contains a large battery of 160mAh, and takes only 1.5 hours to charge for 0 to 100. If you’re short on time, a quick 5-minute charge will allow for more than 1.5 hours of playtime.

The earbuds are also IPX4 water resistant, ensuring that it’ll be able to accompany you on your active lifestyles.

Like the Realme Watch S, the Realme Buds Wireless Pro will go on sale on 7 November on Lazada and Shopee, as well as in authorised retailers. The Realme Buds Wireless Pro goes on sale for S$129.
