Life After COVID: Kamini the Storyteller

  • Follow the lives of eights artists in Singapore as they reveal how COVID-19 has affected them and how they adapted to it. We start with the tale of Kamini, the Storyteller.

She is the Creative Producer of StoryFest Singapore, Director of the Storytelling Centre Limited and Founder of MoonShadow Stories which she started almost 20 years ago. She picked up the art and stories from her late grandfather and has a collection of over 4000 picture books.

However, when the pandemic hit, the performing arts industry was shut down. Not being able to work with a live audience, she embraced digital storytelling and shares what makes artists essential.

As we are isolated from crowds and noise, Kamini explores a more intimate storytelling session surrounded and inspired by nature. Find out what Kamini is working on next and what the future of storytelling is.
