Creativity is best when made useful.
Great ideas are born every minute but few actually see the light of day. With the first of six events in the Somerset Dialogues series, we’ll be exploring new ways to transform the Somerset Belt through Arts & Design. All youths welcome – no artistic background necessary!
Join us on Saturday, 28 August at 10 am and play a part in building something special for Somerset. With a lively discussion, ideation session, and creative brainstorming, you’ll get access to core skills that can bring your practical and value-adding creative visions to life.
– Learn more about placemaking and creative expression with Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Artist, Tobyato (@tobyato)
– Leave your mark on the Somerset Belt with a virtual mural that will serve as the inspiration for Somerset Youth Park’s new banner
– Hear from our panelists – Abhisek Rai (AR/VR Tech Solutionist at MAGES), Eugene Soh (Founder of DUDE and Mind Palace) & Kent Teo (Founder of MOX) – about the design elements that add to the Somerset Belt and how they think art can be used to further elevate the space
– Participate in a youth-oriented ideation session that plays on useful principles from design thinking and UX.
See you soon!
