Spill The Tea
“Open Happiness” — true to Coca-Cola’s 2009 slogan, now you can open [the door] to happiness right here in Singapore, at the city’s very first 7-Eleven and Coca-Cola crossover concept store.
What to expect?
We’re all too familiar with 7-Eleven, which is the usual go-to store for a snack or drink whilst on the move. However, this is probably unlike any 7-Eleven store you’ve ever seen — other than spanning a total of two storeys, the entire store is decked out in red, which is Coca-Cola’s signature colour.
Feel the fizz of excitement the minute you approach the store; the establishment’s entrance is marked by a giant Coca-Cola splash tree. Walk down memory lane at the Nostalgic Zone, which boasts vintage Coca-Cola crates — containing full glass Coca-Cola bottles — and a cute little cooler.
Fuel up before the fun starts
The first level comprises the retail area, which offers a variety of 7-Eleven’s ready-to-eat meals, on top of ice-cold Coca-Cola beverages. Check out the new items on the menu, such as Angus Beef Pie and freshly baked goods such as Butter and Cocoa Hazelnut Croissants, which range from $1.80 to $4.50. And from as low as $0.50, you can even dig into yummy treats such as Chicken Nuggets and Drumsticks!
Instagrammable spots galore, anyone?
Once you’ve got your fill, venture up a swanky red staircase to the “Pit Stop” on the second level, where a treasure trove of Coca-Cola themed areas await.
Relax on the beanbags, snap a selfie against one of the aesthetic neon wall murals, or even battle it out with a friend at the foosball table. Pose with quirky cut-outs of polar bears, vintage Coca-cola bottles, and use the wacky trick-eye effects to your utmost advantage.
Plus, there are even charging points provided so that you can fully juice up your phones for all that photo-taking! Don’t forget to share your creative photos with the hashtags #7elevensg and #7elevensgcocacola.
Today’s your lucky day!
That’s not all. Give the two claw machines at the Gift Catcher zone a whirl and try your luck at winning a one-of-a-kind 7-Eleven and Coca-Cola premium prize, among others. Prizes are updated on a regular basis; up for grabs are foldable bikes, picnic tables, beverage tumblers, and more. Each turn requires a token, which you’ll receive upon spending a minimum of $7 at the retail area on the first level, inclusive of a purchase of either Coca-Cola, A&W or Sprite beverages.
In addition, from now until 30 September, purchase four 500ml Coca-Cola drinks — such as any combination of Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola No Sugar and Coca-Cola Vanilla — in a single receipt and stand a chance to receive a limited-edition Coca-cola tumbler! How’s that for a sweet souvenir?
In line with safe distancing measures, do note that only 10 people will be allowed into the store at any one time.
